The Journey to Faith Balance

This book is a collection of reflections on life and a guide to drawing closer to Allah Almighty. It consists of ten chapters, each divided into several paragraphs addressing spiritual topics such as the awakening of the heart, tranquility in proximity to Allah, repentance from sins, and the importance of seeking forgiveness and supplication. It also highlights the balance of faith and the necessity of self-accountability. The book also discusses what distracts a person from worship and keeps them away from balance, such as heedlessness, desires, following whims, and envy. It also elucidates the keys to serenity and their impact on the believer's life, such as remembrance of Allah, prayer, reading the Quran and contemplating its verses, and patience in facing trials. It emphasizes the importance of steadfastness in faith and adherence to religion despite obstacles, and suggests practical means to achieve this. Chapter seven is dedicated to discussing Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), reminding us of his noble character and principles to serve as an example for us on our journey. The book presents a collection of commandments and famous sayings from the righteous predecessors that touch the heart and awaken it from its heedlessness. It also includes numerous Quranic verses and Prophetic hadiths for us to contemplate and ponder their meanings, in addition to recounting real-life stories in each chapter that revive the heart and point to the path of salvation. Finally, it offers us the Guide to Spiritual Balance, which is a set of practical steps that help us achieve serenity and balance in our spiritual lives.
