Three sisters

Against all odds, three Slovak sisters survived years of imprisonment in Nazi Germany's most notorious death camp: Auschwitz. Clinging to each other, Livia, Magda, and Sebi nearly died of starvation, exhaustion, and the cruel whims of the guards at this horrific place. But now the Allies are closing in, and the sisters face one final obstacle: the death march from Auschwitz, as the Nazis attempt to erase all trace of the prisoners held there. Thanks to a last-minute stroke of luck, the three sisters manage to escape the formation and hide in the forest for days before being rescued. This is where the story begins. From there, the three travel to Israel, their new homeland, but the battle for freedom takes on new forms. Livia, Magda, and Sebi must confront the ghosts of their pasts—and some of the secrets they kept from each other—to find true peace and happiness. Inspired by a true story, and with events that intertwine with those of Lali, Gita, and Silka, the three sisters will occupy a place in the hearts and minds of listeners as they experience what true courage truly is.
