Days at the Morisaki Bookshop
In Jimbocho, Tokyo, lies a paradise for book lovers. In a quiet corner of an old wooden building, there's a shop filled with hundreds of used books.
Twenty-five-year-old Takako never loved reading, even though the Morisaki Bookshop had been part of her family for three generations. It's a source of pride and joy for her Uncle Satoru, who has devoted his life to the bookshop ever since his wife, Momoko, left him five years ago.
When Takako's boyfriend reveals he's marrying someone else, she reluctantly accepts her eccentric uncle's offer to live rent-free in the tiny room above the shop. Hoping to find solace for her broken heart, Takako is surprised to discover new worlds among the towering stacks of books at the Morisaki Bookshop.
As summer turns to autumn, Satoru and Takako discover they have more in common than they initially thought. The Morisaki Bookshop has something to teach them both about life, love, and the healing power of books.
