Explanation of the Book Al-Furqan
Author's Name: Ibn Taymiyyah
Ibn Taymiyyah - may Allah have mercy on him - mentioned distinctions between the allies of Allah and the allies of Satan, by which each of the two groups can be identified, in light of Allah’s saying: "Shall I inform you upon whom the devils descend? They descend upon every sinful liar. They impart hearsay, and most of them are liars." These verses clarify the allies of Satan. As for the allies of the Most Merciful, Allah said: "Unquestionably, [for] the allies of Allah there will be no fear concerning them, nor will they grieve. Those who believed and used to fear Allah."
This is an explanation by Sheikh Saleh Al-Sheikh of the book "Al-Furqan between the Allies of the Most Merciful and the Allies of Satan" by Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him.
