This novel was discovered after being lost for over thirty years, found at the bottom of an old box filled with old papers and periodicals. The novel was preceded by a letter to his wife and unborn child, asking them... if something bad were to happen, to immediately print it as is, but under a pseudonym. In any case, the wife and son decided to publish the novel under a pseudonym despite its fragmented structure, and we feel that by publishing the novel, we have honored his memory with the respect it deserves. The novel is a heroic war about the struggle for survival, speaking of the disappearance of thousands of men, and some women, at the hands of the secret police of those dictatorships under the cover of darkness. It is unfortunate that this tragedy occurs in Chile, El Salvador, South Africa, and the Philippines. It happened in Denmark previously, and who knows where it will happen tomorrow.
