Management is a strange thing; although few of us set out to do it, most of us do it at some point.
Career Counselor: What do you want to be when you finish your studies?
16 year old: I want to be a manager.
Has something like this ever happened to you? No, neither have I. But here are the manager's requirements anyway.
As a manager, you are expected to do many things: to be a strong support, a leader and innovator, a magician (bringing in pay raises, resources, and more employees through a magic hat), a caring uncle/aunt, a supportive mother-in-law, a dynamic motivator, a strict and fair judge, a diplomat, a financial fortune teller (this is very different from being a magician), a protector, loyal, and good.
