In a wonderfully artistic and dramatic way, the world-renowned writer Agatha Christie depicted for us the murder of Mr. Ratchett on the Orient Express during a fast European journey. At first glance, the reader imagines that it is a conventional murder, one of those usual crimes with personal motives. However, here the writer captures for us the features, manifestations, and genius of the international detective, Mr. Hercule Poirot, and how he began to investigate this thorny case, and how he began to connect the intertwined and mysterious events at once until he arrived at the solution. The stopping of the Orient Express due to snow was not an incidental matter in the novel, but rather came for the sake of the dramatic plot, to give the novel a wonderful artistic touch.
