This series of educational stories narrates the daily life of a schoolboy named Khairuddin and the events he experiences with his family and friends. Suitable for elementary school children, it is filled with educational and moral messages. It addresses the most prominent situations children face in their daily lives, based on morals derived from Islamic teachings, such as love, helping others, serving the community, making excuses, and being patient, among others.
These stories feature minute details that transport the reader's imagination to a variety of situations. They address a large number of these situations in a positive, moral, and educational manner. The reader, in turn, acquires methods for dealing with them, which become easy to apply in his daily life. In this way, these stories indirectly contribute to shaping the reader's personality and developing good qualities within him.
Khair El-Din, like all children, has his good and bad sides, but he tries as much as he can to be a good and charitable child.
Khair El Din's friends are: Shadi "the free", who has an exploitative personality and likes to take without giving; Mustafa, the son of the mosque's imam, who has a somewhat idealistic personality and loves charity and always reminds his friends of the sayings of our Prophet Mohammed, peace be upon him, and the beauty of following his Sunnah; Majed "the Messi", who loves football; Rami "the strong", who loves food; Samah "the clean", who is obsessed with cleanliness; Sarah "the centenarian", who is the most intelligent among the friends; and Farid "the techie", who loves technology.
