The Empty City

In this novel, the author narrates the story of lost Lebanese youth, who sense their broad horizons, so they extend their hand to it, and it casts its gaze on him. The world holds their conscience, embraces them, and roams with their hopes. But whenever they set foot on the ground, the ground slips from under them, and they fall into the mud. They try again, but to no avail... They are strangers among the flocks of sheep, and in the middle of this world that wakes up every morning, only to sleep late at night; without having a say in it, or making decisions for themselves. The author asks, where is the human being? The world is full of people, but where is the human being? Where is the city? And why is the city empty?
