The story of Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Medina is one of four books in the “Stories of the Prophets” series by Dar Al-Salam.

The story of Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Medina teaches children about the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) from his migration to Medina until his death.
This beautifully written book is easy to read and follow, with lovely illustrations for young children to enjoy and learn about our beloved Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
The other three books in the series are titled: The Story of Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Mecca, The Story of Abraham (peace be upon him), and The Story of Adam (peace be upon him).
It is our Islamic responsibility as parents to raise our children in the faith and instill in their hearts the love of God and our beloved Prophets. Love for the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) is an integral part of our faith as Muslims, and this book is a wonderful way to introduce and teach our children about the life of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

“O Arabs, here is the Prophet you have all been waiting for!” cried a man from the tribe of the Children of Israel. Two figures appeared in the distance, coming through the hot desert mist toward Medina. Upon hearing the cry, every man, woman, and child dropped what they were doing and lined the streets of Medina. Many of the new Muslims in the city had not yet met the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). At first, they mistook Abu Bakr (may God be pleased with him) for Muhammad (peace be upon him) until he shielded Muhammad (peace be upon him) from the scorching midday sun with his own cloak. Muhammad (peace be upon him) stayed for a few days in Quba, where he built the first mosque. Then he mounted his camel and headed toward the heart of Medina, and God guided his camel until it knelt down.
