Sunan Ibn Majah is one of the six most authentic books of Hadith, containing 4,341 Hadiths. Like the translations of the other six major Hadith collections, Dar As-Salam Publishing House has paid meticulous attention to accurate translation, clear and simple modern English, and high-quality publication.
The hadiths in the book are followed by commentaries to explain the issues and help readers draw lessons. To further assist, Darussalam has added several features, such as a section on how to benefit from Sunan Ibn Majah, Arabic terminology and technical explanations, information on hadith collections, and a glossary of Islamic terms in the final volume.
Each hadith is also followed by its own authenticity report. The situation is explained in more detail in the Arabic text. The complete chain of transmission is also included in the Arabic text, although it was omitted from the English text to reduce length and because it was not useful for English readers.
