This collection is the Bengali translation of Sahih al-Bukhari. Sahih al-Bukhari is generally considered the most authentic collection of hadiths, covering almost all aspects of life and providing sound guidance from the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). Sahih al-Bukhari is the work of Imam al-Bukhari, which took over 16 years to complete. Before writing any hadith in this book, he would pray two rak'ahs seeking guidance from God, and only after confirming its authenticity would he include it. There are numerous errors in the translations of other translators. To overcome this problem, Darussalam spent many years publishing this book, presenting a translation in a very accessible style and simple language, making it easy for all readers to understand.
The complete version of Sahih al-Bukhari comprises a total of 7,563 hadiths (approximately 4,000 pages). Each book (the sub-topics within each volume are categorized under very broad themes, such as the Book of Prayer) contains numerous chapters, each representing a logical unit of hadiths. Each book contains anywhere from one to 150 chapters, with each chapter containing several hadiths. This book will be a wonderful addition to your library while providing you with a genuine perspective on the traditions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
In his "Sahih al-Bukhari" (collection of authentic hadiths), Imam al-Bukhari recorded all the hadiths of the Prophet that he found to be authentic after thorough examination and verification. He spent sixteen years researching and examining more than sixty thousand hadiths, selecting only those whose authenticity and accuracy he had proven beyond any doubt. Excluding duplicates, the Imam's collection contains approximately four thousand different hadiths.
