Jurisprudence of the Book of Sunnah Urdu

This is an Urdu translation of "Al-Lubab fi Fiqh al-Sunnah wa al-Kitab" by Muhammad Subhi bin Hasan Hallaq, translated by Maulana Umar Farooq. The work encompasses all schools of Islamic jurisprudence, supported by evidence and presented in a clear and simple manner accessible to both young and old. It avoids blind adherence to any particular school, instead presenting sound evidence and following the most reliable opinions, without rigid adherence to any specific group. The author agrees with each school when it is correct and disagrees when it deviates from the truth. Jurisprudence (fiqh) is the process of understanding the obscure through understanding the established; therefore, it is more specific than mere knowledge or learning. Jurisprudence is the knowledge of legal principles. A person is called a faqih (jurist) when they acquire understanding and thus become a faqih (a scholar of Islamic jurisprudence). It is also said that someone is faqih when they understand something, and that they study it. Jurisprudence has been a subject of debate among scholars and laypeople throughout Islamic history.
