Alfiyyah al-'Iraqi fi 'Ulum al-Hadith, known to scholars of hadith and its sciences as al-Tabsira wa'l-Tadhkira, by Imam and Hafiz Abu al-Fadl Zayn al-Din Abd al-Rahim ibn al-Husayn al-'Iraqi, who died in 806 AH. It is one of the most important texts on the terminology of hadith in verse, consisting of 1003 verses. In this verse, Hafiz al-'Iraqi attempted to encompass Ibn al-Salah's book on the sciences of hadith.
Imam Al-Iraqi composed a thousand-line poem on the terminology of Hadith, in which he abbreviated the book “Knowledge of the Types of Hadith Science” by Ibn Al-Salah. He did not stop at the abbreviation, but rather added some issues, statements, and comments to what was in Ibn Al-Salah’s book. He pointed this out in his thousand-line poem by saying:
And I increased her knowledge, you see its place
