This book places us in a rare literary zodiac of Mesopotamia and the poets, writers, priests, scribes, fortune-tellers, magicians, prophets, and musicians who orbited it. There are twelve literary constellations, whose incense burners contain clay tablets and ancient manuscripts, and revolve around the two rivers, perfuming them with texts (Sumerian, Akkadian, Babylonian, Assyrian, Aramaic, Syriac, Mandaic, Manichaean, Harranian, Yazidi, Nabataean, and Hiraic). The author presents us with a lavish literary scene, different from what we are accustomed to in a hasty and cursory look at the literature of ancient Iraq. He gathers the fragments of a scene that was on the verge of abbreviation and then extinction, but the caring hand of Enki, which the author used to compile and write the legacy of Enki (the master of writing and creativity in literature and the arts), enabled him to give us all this abundant flow.
