Capitals of the Qawasim

The book reviews many fallacies one by one in the form of (decisive) and then refute them in the form of (capital). The most famous part of the book is related to the suspicions raised against the companions. This part is issued as a separate book, investigated by the scholar Muhibb al-Din al-Khatib. Without this investigation, the book loses much of its value. Al-Awasim min al-Qawasim fi Investigation of the Positions of the Companions after the Death of the Prophet is a book written by the hafiz and judge Abu Bakr ibn al-Arabi. The author discusses the issue of infallibility. According to Ibn al-Arabi, and from the point of view of the Sunnis and the community, infallibility is only for the prophets, but that does not mean that the companions of the prophet are attacked, as attacking the companions of the prophet is attacking the prophet himself. Due to the ongoing dispute between Sunnis and Shiites, the author defends the companions and mentions their virtues and miracles. He called the claim “decisive” and the response to it “capital.” He even reached in his responses to the Abbasid era.
