Why do I have problems summarizing a Muslim book?

First: A summary of the book Muslim by Abu al-Abbas al-Qurtubi (656 AH) is one of the books that summarized Sahih Muslim according to the arrangement of books and chapters, which makes it easy for those who want to compare to return to the hadith with its complete chains of transmission. The book’s method was represented in deleting the repeated hadiths as well as deleting the chain of transmission and being satisfied with listing the texts of the book with mentioning the companion who narrated the hadith. This is in addition to translating the books and chapters of Sahih Muslim in a good and accurate manner, meaning that it combined the accuracy of the method, ease of presentation, and comprehensiveness of the method.

Second: “Al-Mufhim Lamma Ashkala min Talkhis Kitab Muslim” by the same author. This book combines a summary of the book of Muslim, then a useful explanation of the words and meanings, deriving the legal rulings, interpreting the different, solving the problem, extracting directions and guidance, and pointing out the points of grammar and the aspects of reasoning with the hadiths, with attention to language and rhetoric. The book is being investigated for the first time.

Many commentators on the Prophetic hadith benefited from it, such as Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar in Al-Fath, Imam Al-Nawawi, and others.
