Explanation by Sheikh Abdul Karim Al-Khudair on the Al-Ha'iyyah poem by Ibn Abi Dawud

The Ha’iyyah System; a Sunni poem and a beautiful system by Al-Hafiz Abu Bakr bin Abi Dawud Al-Sijistani, which included the major issues in creed in which there was disagreement between the Sunnis and those who opposed them from the people of innovation. In it, he clarified the correct belief, as it urged adherence to the Book and the Sunnah and warned against innovations and their people. In it, he clarified that the Qur’an is the uncreated word of God, and that seeing God is a reality. In it, he affirmed the attributes with which God described Himself, including the two hands of God and the attribute of descent and negated the modality of them. He also clarified the virtues of the Companions of the Messenger of God, and explained belief in predestination and the Last Day, and warned against the Kharijites and the innovation of Irja’. He defined faith and called for returning to the Book and the Sunnah and abandoning opinion.
