Diwan of Ahmad ibn Ali al-Kindi

The first published collection of poems by Ahmed Al-Kindi was released to commemorate the wedding of Sheikh Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan. Ahmed Al-Kindi in front of the Hilton Hotel in Munich in 1982. O God, I ask of You.

Ahmed Ali Al-Kindi Al-Murr, known simply as Al-Kindi (his family name), belonged to the Al-Murr tribe, one of the Bani Yas tribes. He was a poet who contributed to the development of Nabati poetry and the preservation of its beauty and presence among other folk arts and literature. He also participated in numerous radio and television programs and performed at Emirati folk festivals abroad. The rabab (a traditional stringed instrument) was a constant companion to the poet, appearing on television, radio, and on audio recordings that circulated among lovers of folk arts and literature. He successfully combined poetry with the rabab, singing the sweetest poems and delicate Bedouin melodies accompanied by the instrument. The poet was distinguished by his romantic poems, characterized by refined taste and a sophisticated style, far removed from vulgar or crude themes. Despite exploring various genres in his poetry, romantic poems remained his defining characteristic.
