The Messenger of God, peace and blessings be upon him, taught me

The educational approach based on prophetic stories

Author's name: Alaa Hamed

God Almighty has placed in human nature an inclination towards stories and has given them a strong influence on hearts. Therefore, stories are among the most powerful means of education in influencing. How much knowledge, guidance, and steadfastness for the heart of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the hearts of his followers were contained in the stories of the Quran

The story of how they learned high aspirations, And the story of how they learned generosity and detachment from worldly things. And a story that opens doors of hope and action for them. And a story that instills in them the reasons for victory and salvation, and the reasons for defeat and destruction. And a story that prompts them to reflect on the signs of God Almighty and that the days are a cycle among people.

In doing so, they become aware of God’s established laws, especially concerning the conflict between truth and falsehood; and this knowledge makes them more steadfast in the religion of God Almighty. I maintain that we still need to exert greater effort in extracting the treasures of revelation for the betterment of ourselves and the world around us.

God has gathered words for our Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and in a few words there are countless benefits. So together we will explore these sublime prophetic stories, through which we will come to know God by His names and attributes. We come to know ourselves, our hidden depths and secrets, we understand God's laws in the universe, and we learn how to deal with reality and with others. Prophetic stories are a complete educational school.
