Everything was fine... until the storm began. She was certain that he was playing a symphony of love that only her heart could hear, and that he had a dictionary of words unknown to the ancient civilizations of love. He spoke to her a lot about his heart, his broken oar, and his loneliness floating in the harbor of patience. She saw in him the beauty of Joseph, and loved him with the heart of Jacob. She knew that his presence was a prayer fulfilled on the Night of Decree, and that he was an angel who came to her from a paradise where there were wandering angels. She wove from her imagination a reality with which she lived in his reality. He was the most beautiful of the great gifts of the Almighty after her feelings had become godless and loneliness had wasted her heart. She loved him very much and had no choice in love. She would fall asleep at night dreaming with him, and in her heart were remnants of wishes. With the sun of every morning she would talk to him. She lived with him for a decade, in the verses of a love poem he composed, born with him when he loved her. But happiness has a short lifespan.. and the winds always blow against her heart's desires.. and then the storm intensifies. Show less
