Its author is Dr. Muhammad Ali Unal, a full-time professor at Pamukkale University. The book is divided into two main sections. The first section discusses the central formations in the Ottoman Empire, the Imperial Divan, its functions, its members, its administrative body, and the various departments. In this section, the author also discusses the military formations, the central forces, the Yekiger rebellions, the new system, and the military forces in the provinces. The second section discusses the Timar system among the Ottomans, how lands were administered in the Ottoman Empire, the system of liberation and how it was implemented, as well as the various legal and customary taxes, the provinces and the Timar Sipahiye, the reasons for the corruption of the Timar system and attempts to reform it, the management of districts and judges, and the institution of the Waqf. Then comes the list of sources and references. I hope that the book will provide a new addition to the Arabic library and benefit students, researchers, and readers alike.
