We drown in books, we drown in series and TV shows. Yet we can only read one book and watch one show at a time. We have multiplied everything around us, but we have not multiplied ourselves. There is only one self for each of us. We are all much smaller than the internet, and to enjoy our lives, perhaps we should stop thinking about the things we will never be able to read, watch, say, or do, and perhaps we should start thinking about a way to enjoy the world within our simple limits. To live on a human level. To focus on the few things we can do. Instead of the millions of things we will never grasp. To stop chasing parallel lives. To find smaller mathematics. To be singular and proud selves. To be a hidden essence.
