I missed a prayer

As children, we used to be ordered to pray by our elders. We would obey the order and go to pray. We would find that prayer is burdensome. We would leave it. We would hear a sheikh talking about prayer, its importance, and the punishment for abandoning it. So we would go to pray. We would find that prayer is burdensome, so we would leave it. We thought that the one ordering us to pray does not feel what we feel. We thought that the one who maintains it has a divine gift that we do not have. We waited for that divine gift for a long time. Until we missed one prayer after another because we did not solve the root of the problem, which is why prayer seems burdensome.
