Between freedom and the hand of fate

When I experienced these events, I felt they were strange and different from all the personal experiences I had gone through in my life. They stirred within me several feelings, including joy, happiness, and delight, as well as a sense of absolute certainty that an all-knowing, nurturing, and guiding force had intervened to enable these experiences to occur.

My belief and faith in the presence of that great and wise power did not result in a belief or feeling that it was robbing me of my freedom, or that its existence conflicted with the presence of evil in the world. On the contrary, my freedom was clearly confirmed to me, and it became clear to me that the evil rampant in the world was intended and destined for existence by that great power, that is, God, for a wisdom greater than evil, one that it knows, but that man is ignorant of.
