The history of the Al Busaid Imams in Oman during the period (1749 - 1856 AD) refers to the era of the establishment of the Al Busaid state by Imam Ahmed bin Said, who unified the country after the internal conflicts of the Yaruba, and extended Oman's maritime influence. This phase was characterized by the relocation of the capital to Rustaq and Muscat, and the emergence of Oman as a major regional power in the Indian Ocean and East Africa.
