Reflection On The Holy Quran

The purpose of this book is to help readers understand and reflect upon the words of God Almighty in their entirety, as revealed in His Holy Quran. The goal is to present the Quran as a single, coherent, and integrated message—like a single surah and a single theme—drawing the reader’s attention in a motivating and engaging manner toward a single goal: guidance to the path of loving God, with the intention of following and correctly applying His teachings as our Lord, Glorified be He, loves and is pleased with.

He, the Exalted, said: ﴾A Book which We have revealed to you, blessed, so that they may ponder its verses and so that those of understanding may take heed.﴿

Surah Sad: 29

To achieve this goal, all necessary books and treatises were studied. The impact of the Qur’an on the lives of Muslims—both individually and collectively—was carefully examined. Each surah was then studied individually to understand its subtleties, identify its purpose and themes, trace its context from various perspectives, and elucidate its meanings based on exegeses and works of Qur’anic studies.

This was followed by a study of the surahs according to their order in the Qur’an and the order of their revelation and an examination of how they fit into their context with the surahs before and after them and with the entire Qur’an—as if each surah were a single word.

Finally, this work and these reflections have been presented to the esteemed reader in this book.
