The life of Uthman ibn Affan was filled with many momentous events, perhaps the most notable of which was the social development that occurred during the first days of the Prophet's mission. Islam brought about a major revolution in Arab societies against established customs, systems, and beliefs, and this revolution did not subside until the beginning of Uthman's reign. The second of these events was his murder. The murder of the Caliph of the Muslims a few years after the death of their Prophet was an event with repercussions and motives that subsequently changed the form of the Islamic state. Al-Aqqad succeeded in overcoming the difficulty of dealing with the biography of the "murdered Caliph" by presenting the most important factors that led to the situation reaching its current state: conflict and disagreement, which later became the nucleus of the greatest strife to hit the Islamic eras.
