An excellent book that discusses in detail the characteristics of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah who follow the path of the righteous predecessors, the people of hadith and the people of the clear path. This book explains the principles of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah and their characteristics that distinguish them from the people of innovation and misguidance. Studying the principles of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jama'ah and their characteristics, especially through the books of the standard-bearer of criticism and authentication in this era, the virtuous scholar Rabi' ibn Hadi al-Madkhali (may Allah preserve him), is one of the greatest things that helps a person to know the path of the believers in detail, so that he may love and follow it, and to know the path of the criminals, past and present among them, and to hate and avoid it.
In this book, the author has followed a scientific and investigative approach. He has indexed the principles of the Salafi call from his selected collection of what Sheikh Rabi’ decided. After that, he arranged them into chapters. Some of them are principles related to the method of the people of the Sunnah and the community in reasoning, some of them are related to their general method and guidance, and some of them are related to their call. After that, he divided the chapters into research and the research into demands. This gradual arrangement facilitates benefiting from this book.
