An important study on the topic of "financial punishment", which the author Al-Akhmeemi (may Allah have mercy on him) was active in. He proved that it is not permissible under Islamic law, and no Muslim can be punished for it no matter what he does, as his wealth is protected in Islam, and whoever does so has unlawfully consumed wealth. He explained that whatever was previously included in it was abrogated, and a consensus was subsequently reached that there is no financial punishment. Whoever says this has deviated from the consensus and gone against it, such as the Hadiya (Zaidi), the scholar Ibn Taymiyyah and his student Ibn al-Qayyim. He responded to those who said that the Malikis have a position on it that it is permissible, although some of them clarified the difference between financial punishment and financial punishment. He divided his book into an introduction and six chapters, in which he quoted the texts, responded to those who argued with abrogated evidence, and devoted another chapter to monopolization. Then he followed up on the words of those who permit it that were not previously answered, and also cited the evidence of those who prohibit it. The author is a Maliki scholar from Al-Azhar, from Akhmim in Upper Egypt. He lived in Medina and died in Mecca.
