The text of Tuhfat al-Atfal is one of the most famous texts on the science of Tajweed for beginners, composed by later scholars. It includes the most famous rules of Tajweed that a reader of the Qur’an needs at the beginning of his journey. Because of its simplicity, it has attracted great attention from experts in Tajweed, and scholars and reciters from the era of its author to the present day have explained it in many commentaries.

This new edition has a new layout, new script, and different verification. It has collected the manuscripts of Tuhfat al-Atfal that the author had come across, and compared them with the version that was explained by its author, as well as the version of Sheikh Ali al-Dabba’. He compared them with the manuscripts and explanations, and confirmed this in the footnotes, as well as in the punctuation of the original text. This new edition is distinguished by features that help students of the Holy Qur’an and its memorizers.
