This book contains a beautiful intellectual discussion between two schools of thought, the first of which prides itself on poetry and language to the point of fanaticism and intolerance, and the second, represented by the author, which criticizes poetry, royal literature, and the complex grammatical rules established by grammarians. The author presents and discusses the impact of literature and language on Arab society, and identifies the reasons for the particular interest of caliphs and sultans in it, which led Arabs to become one of the most interested people in poetry. Through this book, the author seeks to liberate the Arabic language for a simpler understanding by simplifying its rules, and to liberate society from the dominance that still pervades it.
