The great Imam Muhyiddin Abu Zakariya al-Nawawi, may God have mercy on him, chose a selection of prophetic hadiths on many topics in his book Riyad al-Salihin, which includes two thousand hadiths that he chose from the book Mukhtar al-Sahih and the approved books on the Sunnah. It was explained by Imam Muhammad ibn Allat in eight parts, and his explanation, may God have mercy on him, was fulfilling the needs of his time.
The need has arisen to provide a suitable school-based explanation of Riyad as-Salihin, in accordance with the requirements of current social conditions and contemporary educational methods, especially for those concerned with education, teaching and guidance at all levels.
The book has been explained with the references of the verses that Imam Al-Nawawi mentioned at the beginning of each chapter, and the references of each hadith have been mentioned so that the reader can see its chains of transmission and what is related to it, and the explanation of the linguistic vocabulary of each hadith, and other things that generalize the benefit of Riyad Al-Salihin and make it easier for students.
In producing this book, he relied on the book “Dalil al-Falihin” and references from authoritative books of Sunnah in exegesis, biographies, biography, jurisprudence, and dictionaries.
