Dar Al Fikr realizes that reciting the Holy Quran has its due right {Those to whom We gave the Scripture recite it with its true recitation}
[Al-Baqarah: 2/121] And that if Muslims do not perform the right recitation of the Qur’an, they will be overtaken by the complaint of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace: “O my Lord, indeed my people have taken this Qur’an to be something to be abandoned.” [Al-Furqan 25/30] With this awareness, Dar Al-Fikr has striven to provide the reader of the Qur’an with what will help him perform the right recitation of it, through contemplation, reflection, study, and action, by making lawful what is lawful and forbidding what is forbidden. It has presented to him the text of the Noble Qur’an in a beautiful artistic script in which it has distinguished the majestic words in red, and the beautiful names of God in green, so that he may emerge from its recitation with a treasure trove of the beautiful names of God that God Almighty has commanded to be called upon. It has also attached to it a brief explanation (authored by Dr. Wahba Al-Zuhayli) for each verse next to it. And if the verse has a reason for revelation, he can recognize it with a quick glance, without burdening himself with the trouble of flipping through dozens of pages to search for it, as in other editions, a verse similar to, complementary to, or enriching the meaning, some of whose words he knows, or he wants to know the number of verses in which a certain word appears in the Qur’an. The generous one, immediately go to the dictionary of the words of the Qur’an, which will immediately direct him to the places where the word is found in it. However, if thoughts come to him, and meanings flow in his mind, and he wants to follow a topic outside the limits of its words and trace its branches and dimensions, he should turn to the dictionary of the meanings of the Qur’an to open up its topic and scatter it before him, branching out on several levels, forming a complete plan for a broad research, which he can make the subject of a sermon, lecture, research, or book.
