How can the power of shared advancement advance the business world?

In his book, "Leading Without Authority," author Keith Ferrazzi presents a new concept of management based on engaging everyone inside and outside the workplace to achieve outstanding results, challenging traditional authority hierarchies and the limitations of job titles. According to Ferrazzi, the foundation of problem-solving is based on everyone's cooperation within self-organizing teams in a process he calls "co-elevation." This book focuses on one person—you—to change your behavior and elevate those around you toward greater success, often initially in the workplace and later outside of it. It revolves around the ideas and practices of hundreds of senior executives and their teams who have learned and practiced co-elevation as the science of increasing leadership and sales capabilities. Some of their stories of hard work and success are told under pseudonyms to protect their identities. Legendary anthropologist Margaret Mead's maxim, "Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; in fact, it's the only thing that ever has." This is a similar path the shared ascension movement is taking. Those of us who have experienced the magic of shared ascension will spread its message because the ethos of service, sharing, and caring makes shared ascension inherently contagious. People are often slow to believe, but quick to adapt. When we expose our colleagues to the tremendous value of shared ascension, and when they witness its power to change behaviors, inspire collective action, and achieve unexpected results, they will become believers.
