I am coffee, as your ancestors called me. You think you know me because you drink me every sun. Your ignorance is nothing greater than your trust. For centuries, I have listened to your concerns, your objections, and your naivety. You must stop chattering and be humble before my history. My short, intertwined history is your history. We are two braids in a braid. You, too, are just (coffee), twins. We were born together in Africa, divided into lineages that spread across the continents. We became civilized in the Arab countries, and globalized in the West. This is my numbered book. It leaves out nothing, big or small. It is your book.
