In the midst of a heated legal battle, Paul Kraft, a young and inexperienced lawyer, takes on the defense of George Westinghouse against Thomas Edison in a losing case centered on a billion-dollar question: Who truly invented the light bulb? And who has the right to illuminate the nation? In his frantic pursuit of victory, Paul's path crosses with Nikola Tesla, the eccentric and brilliant inventor who may hold the key to defeating Edison. He also encounters Agnes Huntington, a beautiful opera singer who is a master of both stage and stage performance.
