There, they encounter an orphaned girl being hunted by an army of assassins—the last clue in the conspiracy that killed the king. Protecting her is a deadly risk, but it offers them one last chance to restore their honor and do something worthwhile after years of neglect.

"The Traitor's Blade" is a novel about friendship, honor, and resistance against despair, in which three broken heroes use humor as a shield and fight a final battle to find meaning in heroism in a world where the reward for honor is death.
