What a Muslim boy cannot afford to be ignorant of

This book is directed to our sons and daughters, boys and girls, to provide them with a sizable portion of the Islamic culture that is important to them during their lifespan, from puberty to high school graduation. This book consists of seven sessions: a session on belief and faith, a session on the sciences of the Holy Qur’an and its interpretation, a session on the Noble Prophetic Hadith and some of its terminology, a session discussing some of the Islamic jurisprudential rulings related to purification, prayer, fasting, zakat, and Hajj, a session in which he accompanied the Prophet - may God bless him and grant him peace - by reviewing some of his biography, a session discussing the most important morals that a Muslim youth should possess, and another session on Islamic etiquette. The author was careful to transmit in his book only what was indicated by evidence from the Book of God and the Sunnah accepted by the scholars of Hadith, and to avoid disagreement as much as possible. He followed the style of dialogue between a sheikh or professor and his students to make it more accessible to minds and hearts, except in some instances where he deemed narration more appropriate than dialogue.
