Tears

A collection of tragic stories, through which "Al-Manfaluti" stirred feelings of sorrow and sadness; you hardly move from one story before the next is even sadder and more miserable. The entire collection is a tragedy, most of which shares the anguish of lovers, the misery of the poor, the sorrow of the oppressed, and the torment of the bereaved; these are indeed tears you shed while reading each story. In "The Orphan," you see that life was stingy with the lovers' reunion; so death was more merciful to them. In "The Veil," "Al-Manfaluti" calls for not being drawn to Western traditions. And to the story of "Granada," where Muslims try to preserve their religion after losing their land. "Al-Manfaluti" clarifies the impact of addiction on the individual, and how it leads to downfall in "The Abyss." "Al-Manfaluti" reaches the peak of tragedy, and makes us shed tears with our hearts when we read "The Victim," "Marguerite's Memoirs," and "The Rest of the Memoirs"; you feel as if the misery of the world has been placed upon that poor "Marguerite."
