The story of a literary passion between two giants of English literature in the twentieth century, Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-West. It began after their first meeting at a dinner party in London in 1922, and lasted for nearly twenty years, ending with the tragic incident of Virginia's death, who filled her pockets with stones and drowned herself in the River Ouse in 1941. The two writers exchanged letters in exquisite literary language, with superior eloquence and high expression. In them, they addressed some topics of poetry, novels, and criticism, discussed literary schools, and told stories about their lives and travels in amazing detail. Each of them confided in the other what was in her heart of love, appreciation, and longing, so that these letters would be a unique model and a true example of the epistolary style in English literature.
