Oh, covert narcissist... You taught me to question the usefulness of every thought, every feeling, and every breath I take. You made me feel small, as if I was never enough, while you fed your sick ego from my fear and sense of failure. I became a version of what you wanted to see, a version shaped by your desires, but you never looked beyond your petty needs to truly see who I am. I gave you everything I had, and you immediately took everything without hesitation, which made me feel afraid. I often wondered why I couldn't fix what was broken in you, and why my love for you felt worthless, but now I see the truth: absolutely nothing I offered would have ever satisfied you.
