Ahmed muttered, his eyes following the movement of passersby: “These people have no idea what is about to happen! They are enjoying the last monotonous moments of their boring lives.” A vague danger whose dimensions and nature no one knows, only their location and history. A danger linked to a mysterious Egyptian girl, who appeared in many places, in different forms, to finally rest in peace inside an isolated medical ward in the most secure part of Brazil. A girl unable to speak, and only one person able to communicate with her to uncover the nature of the danger and stop it. And there, a thousand kilometers away, in the bustling streets of São Paulo, three Egyptians are about to announce an amazing invention that will tip the balance of power and threaten modern civilization to its foundations. So the city turns upside down on them in pursuit of that premature invention. A bitter night witnesses a conflict of a special nature and unique tools. A conflict whose center is modern civilization, and whose end is its end.
