A citizen suffers harsh living conditions: unemployed, his mother is ill, and he has no money. When he is offered a strange opportunity to invest his apartment with a company that uses it as a temporary furniture storage, in exchange for cash payments with each transfer, he believes that luck has finally smiled upon him. Money flows into his bank account with little effort, and the deal seems an unexpected savior. But what begins as an easy and quick solution quickly turns into a suffocating nightmare, pushing him to seek salvation at any cost. This is a novel with few characters and events, yet it is open to more than one interpretation, and it raises deep questions about exploitation, capitalism, and the struggles of contemporary man. From its first lines, the reader becomes engrossed in trying to uncover the fate that awaits this citizen.
