Life brings many dreams to an end, and new ones to emerge. They take us to a completely new life, different from the one we knew. Here, we embark on a special kind of quest, each time a different olive tree, where we smell the scent of hope and touch with our fingers what remains of the dream. Here we are, just a few steps away from it, before it fades and our ability to find it again is lost. In this collection of stories, the storytellers engage in conversations about the past, about childhood memories and early formative days, after they began trying to coexist with a strange present that was imposed on them. These stories open up different horizons for long-term contemplation and reflection, and take us back to our first, pristine memories, before reality obliterated their features and the struggle of life assassinated their innocence.
