Marjana's Ghosts by Mahmoud Abdel Shakoor... Now Fouad must confront the ghost of the cinema, as well as the ghosts of his past, and other ghosts around him, whose existence he never imagined. He must cross the distance between reality and imagination, and attempt to answer the recurring question: "Why do our dreams turn into nightmares?" This is an enjoyable and exciting novel for generations, written in a way that blends laughter and tears, dreams and disappointments, between a world of moving specters and living characters of flesh and blood, suffering from confusion, weakness, and distraction, yet trying to emerge from the crucible of the experience with minimal losses and remove the rubble by recovering the memory of lost passion.
