She looked at me with astonished eyes. She couldn't believe that it was me.. the famous journalist.. the first editor of Al Kawakeb magazine.. going to her!

And invited her to lunch..

This was another strange event in my life. Until that day, I had always preferred the seat of the invitee to the seat of the inviter!!

Then I started saying it every day..

Born on January 1, 1919 in Cairo, he graduated from the Faculty of Law in 1942. He began his career as a political writer and editor-in-chief of Rose al-Youssef magazine, founded by his mother, Fatima al-Youssef. He exposed the issue of defective weapons used in the Palestine War. He held a number of journalistic positions, the last of which was editor-in-chief and chairman of the board of directors of Al-Ahram Foundation, after which he devoted himself to writing until his death on January 11, 1990. He produced hundreds of novels and short story collections, most of which were adapted into cinema, radio, and television works. He received numerous prestigious local and international awards, prizes, and certificates of appreciation.
