Journey to the Center of the Earth

We searched extensively for a complete Arabic translation of this highly renowned novel but found none. Undertaking the translation and publication of "Journey to the Center of the Earth" by the author known as the father of French science fiction novels, Jules Verne, was never an easy task. However, we made the decision to proceed, and it was a courageous step for the talented translator Randa Hakim to dedicate herself to translating this novel from French to Arabic, spending many months immersed in the spirit of its author. She deciphered the mysteries of many old French words and expressions until it emerged complete and smooth, just as Jules Verne intended. He first published it in 1864, then revised and expanded it for a larger edition in 1867. This is a novel that all critics describe as enjoyable, engaging, and rich for all ages, and there is no exaggeration in saying that much of what Jules Verne wrote in his novels, especially "Journey to the Center of the Earth," contained sound scientific predictions that indeed materialized in subsequent years at the hands of scientists.
