Muhammad Labib al-Batanuni (died 1938) was an Egyptian traveler and historian. He frequently traveled to Europe. He visited Spain in 1926 and saw the landmarks of Muslim civilization there. During his trip to Spain, he sent a collection of letters to the Egyptian newspaper Al-Ahram, in which he recorded and described the traveler's details. The newspaper published them in a series titled "A Tour of Spain." Al-Batanuni compiled these letters in this book to present the reader with a complete picture: the image of Andalusia in its past and present, and the image of a civilization whose rise was great and whose fall was bitter. The book also includes a collection of photographs of the magnificent monuments left behind by the Arabs and Muslims in Andalusia.

You may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
