Inside a self-sufficient laboratory operating off-world, what does it take to create a machine with human consciousness? His entire world revolves around programming, and the main reason he sleeps and eats is to dive back into streams of computer data as quickly as possible. In a laboratory whose entire goal is to program the first artificial general intelligence equipped with maximum computing power and human consciousness. But when he looks behind the scenes of the laboratory, his unconditional faith in technology begins to fade.
Cease is used to transfer his consciousness into the artificial intelligence machine Dave through transcription sessions in which he recounts his memories and they are stored in Dave's consciousness to gain human consciousness, and he can develop himself on his own to solve all the problems and suffering in the world.
So what is the purpose of Dave's existence, really? And who benefits from his creation?
